Efficio now allows users to download account and agency contacts in vCard, a universal file format, and to auto-export activities in the Efficio Calendar to a user’s external calendar. The enhancements are part of Efficio’s updated release 5.0, which will be rolled out to users at the first of the year.
Once contacts are added to Efficio, they can then be imported in vCard form into the user’s primary address book application for use throughout their entire system. Most software applications will allow users to auto-open and import these files with very few steps required from the user. “For example, a user can now create a contact in Efficio, auto-download and import the contact information into Outlook,” explains Efficio Co-President David Einstein. “This is just one more seamless tool that makes contact management so much easier with Efficio.”
A calendar upgrade is also part of the new Efficio 5.0. “Calendars make organizing activities easy, but having more than one calendar can result in activities falling through the cracks,” says Einstein. “We understand that our clients are using several types of software throughout their day. For this reason, we now support auto-exporting an activity created in Efficio to other calendar software.” Users now have the option of auto-exporting all activities created in the Efficio calendar to other calendars in desktop, cloud and mobile solutions. “This extension of the Efficio Calendar makes keeping your calendars in sync quick and simple,” adds Einstein.
