Customer Service Manager
Kitty Malone is originally from Wichita, Kansas, and began her radio and TV career on-air. In her quest for a major market gig, she and her husband both worked in Wichita, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Miami, Portland, Oregon and Tampa before returning home to raise twin daughters. This also meant she attended six colleges before graduating from Florida International University with a BS in Marketing Statistics. With her degree, she was on the ground floor of development of Birch Research, a radio ratings service.
Though dedicated to her craft, she later became an Account Executive. During her 20+ years in Wichita she rose to become GSM/NSM of a six station group with Journal Broadcast Group, and continued her career path by joining Cox in Greenville/Spartanburg. She then moved to Cox Louisville, where she spent five years as GSM/NSM. She was an active member of the American Advertising Federation of Louisville, rising to President and Chairman of the Board.
Among other honors, Kitty was named Radio Ink’s 2010 GSM of the Year before joining Efficio in Spring, 2011. She says the only place she can really unwind is at Disney World, and she is an avid sports fan who can be heard chanting “Rock Chalk!” on game days.
